“To the very end” – Journalist insists club haven’t given up on Tottenham transfer

Last week, TuttoSport appeared pessimistic about Juventus signing Tottenham’s Randal Kolo Muani.

This was largely because of Thomas Frank’s stance about the player’s future. Spurs’ recent injury crisis was making the Dane use the striker more, and he scored against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League.

The 27-year-old started for Tottenham against Manchester City. That should be enough to prove that Frank increasingly sees Kolo Muani as an important player.

Despite clear of signs of pessimism, journalist Enzo Bucchioni hasn’t given up hope of Juve signing the Frenchman.

He wrote about the striker in a column for Tuttomercatoweb.

The Italian believes Juve will try ‘to the very end’ and haven’t really given up. He cleverly uses Juve’s ‘fino alle fine’ slogan to back up the argument too. One reason why the deal is proving difficult is because of Tottenham’s failure to sign a replacement.

He claims that the Bianconeri have already offered a deal to Kolo Muani’s parent club Paris Saint-Germain. The French club have been given an initial loan with an obligation to buy.

This is actually a better deal than what Tottenham have, as the London side signed the player on a dry loan.

Despite that, the deal has stalled. Juve are likely to keep pushing but are exploring the possibility of signing Atletico Madrid’s Alexander Sorloth.

This clearly seems like false hope. Tottenham have little time to sign a possible replacement and have no reason to let Kolo Muani leave. Unless something very dramatic happens, the striker should stay in London.
