According to The Telegraph, Aston Villa have now joined the race as a late deal for Wilson is not being ruled out.

There is a belief that Wilson is keen to leave Fulham in the summer and assess his options as a free agent.

The 28-year-old has been nothing short of sensational under Marco Silva this season and he will not be short of suitors.

However, Fulham are now potentially set to see their opportunity to cash in on Wilson disappear, with the midfielder still not signed to a new deal.

Everton would hugely benefit from Wilson’s goals

Despite playing in the final months of his contract, Wilson has enjoyed his finest run in the Premier League for Fulham.

With Everton struggling for most of the season in front of goal, a midfielder like Wilson could provide a huge boost to their options.

Wilson has scored eight goals and provided four assists in the Premier League alone this term.

Even Alan Shearer has hailed Wilson as ‘brilliant’ following a stunning campaign to date.

For reference, that is the same goals return as Iliman Ndiaye and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall combined.

Everton showed further interest in Wilson in the latter stages of last week, with the 28-year-old one to watch in these final hours.
