Celtic have explored a move for Manchester United defender Tyler Fredricson ahead of the transfer deadline, according to BBC journalist Simon Stone.
The Hoops reportedly made contact over a potential late deal for the 20-year-old centre-back, who is expected to stay put due to an ill-timed injury.
Huddersfield and Aberdeen were also said to be interested in Fredricson, who has made two appearances for United this season, both under former manager Ruben Amorim.
Fredricson has been heavily involved with the first team in 2025/26, making United’s matchday squad for the Premier League on 10 occasions.

According to Stone, Celtic, Huddersfield and Aberdeen all registered their interest in Fredricson ahead of the transfer deadline, but the defender is not expected to move after suffering an injury.
