Jhon Duran's representatives are said to be working intensely to secure a deadline day move for the former Aston Villa striker as time runs out. The 22-year-old, currently on loan at Fenerbahce from Al‑Nassr, saw a proposed move to Lille fall through on Monday.

According to TEAMtalk, his camp are now pushing to arrange an alternative loan deal before the window closes, with his future still very much undecided.

Turkish side Fenerbahce have reportedly made it clear they are willing to let him leave before the deadline in order to pursue a move elsewhere.

Despite being under contract with Al‑Nassr, a switch to the Middle East has been 'completely ruled out,' and Duran is understood to prefer a return to England.

Tottenham, Nottingham Forest and Leeds United are all said to have made contact with his representatives last week and have since been reminded that the opportunity remains open.

Leeds have also shown interest and could be open to signing Duran, with their striker target Jorgen Strand Larsen expected to join Crystal Palace.

The report also notes that, despite the interest in the Colombian forward, clubs have been hesitant to make a firm commitment.

However, if a return to England fails to come together, Russian heavyweights Zenit St Petersburg are reportedly ready to step in and take Duran on loan for the remainder of the season.

Duran completed the £65million plus add-ons move from Villa to Al-Nassr in January 2025, with the club chiefs happy to avoid selling him to a direct Premier League rival.

West Ham tried to sign Duran, while there was also talk of Ollie Watkins departing as Villa considered which of the two players to sell in order to raise revenue.

Elsewhere, Wrexham are eyeing young Villa right‑back Kosta Nedeljkovic, according to Alan Nixon.

The 20‑year‑old, who currently on loan at RB Leipzig, has struggled for game time in both the Bundesliga and European competitions, prompting the Championship club to explore the possibility of taking him on for their promotion push.

The Welsh side are said to be keen on cutting into the existing loan agreement to bring him in, though Villa are understood to want guarantees over his playing time - something complicated by Wrexham already having Issa Kabore available in the same role.
