Speaking to The Mirror, Toney has now admitted that he is keen to remain in Saudi as he eyes a spot in Englandās World Cup squad.
āI feel like Iām doing well right now and that continuing to score goals [here in Saudi] will give me a stronger chance to get to what could be my only World Cup,ā he said.
Beto has received interest from European clubs ahead of the deadline on Monday evening.
Without a direct replacement, there is absolutely no way Moyes could sanction an exit for the 28-year-old striker.
He may have scored the equaliser at the weekend, but Everton fans would certainly have welcomed a player like Toney to come in and replace Beto.
Everton must add a new striker in the summer
With hours left on the clock, Everton are going to struggle to find any side across Europe who would be willing to sell their striker at this stage of the window.
PSV Eindhoven have pulled the plug on Ricardo Pepiās move to Fulham already on deadline day as they canāt find a replacement.
The focus will now have to shift to the summer window.
Everton hold an interest in Troy Parrott among a host of other names.
There will now be the issue of Parrottās value potentially raising if he is to play at the World Cup and shine on the international stage.
