Rovers have added Arsenal youngster Osman Kamara to their Under-21 squad following a successful trial period.
The 19-year-old winger has penned a contract at Ewood Park running to June 2028, with the option of a further 12 months.
He joined on trial earlier this month and scored on his debut in the 5-0 win against Birmingham in Premier League 2 last week.
Kamara was one of Arsenal’s longest-serving Academy players, having been in the Gunners’ youth ranks for over a decade.
He reached double figures for goals during the 2023/24 campaign. His progress was hampered by injuries last term, although he did get on the scoresheet against Inter Milan in the UEFA Youth League.
Kamara had featured regularly for Arsenal’s Under-21s over the past few months and scored in the Vertu Trophy tie against Exeter City. He also represented Sierra Leone at the Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations last year.
The youngster now links up with Gregory Vignal’s squad to continue his development in East Lancashire.
