Six players Arne Slot could sell to fund a major Liverpool deadline day signing

Andy Robertson: The left-back is in the final months of his contract and has been strongly linked with a switch to Tottenham during this transfer window. With Milos Kerkez establishing himself as first choice, Liverpool may choose to accept a fee, thought to be around £5million, rather than losing the defender on a free in the summer.

Curtis Jones: Inter Milan have held discussions over a loan deal with an option to buy for the midfielder, despite the Reds initially rejecting a move to maintain squad depth. However, Jones is said to be keen on the transfer to guarantee more regular playing time and could press for a deal in the coming hours.

Federico Chiesa: The Italian forward has been used as a rotation option under Slot and could leave Anfield to secure his place in his country's bid to make the 2026 World Cup. Juventus were strong contenders for the experienced star in January, though the Reds may be reluctant to let Chiesa go as it could leave them short up front.

Wataru Endo: Endo has been viewed as a squad player for Liverpool, making just two cup starts for the Reds and appearing as a substitute in seven Premier League matches so far. With Ajax showing interest earlier in the window, the 32-year-old could secure a move elsewhere to return to a more prominent role in midfield.

Calvin Ramsay:Reports suggest a transfer for Ramsay hinges on Liverpool securing another deal first. The Scottish right-back was indirectly informed by manager Slot that the club has "better options" in his position, with several Championship sides waiting in the wings to snap up the young defender.

Rhys Williams: The young centre-back has spent recent seasons on loan spells with Aberdeen, Blackpool and, most recently, Morecambe. Liverpool are expected to facilitate Williams' departure should he find a deadline day move, most likely from the lower tiers of English football.

Potential deadline day target: Roland Sallai has emerged as a possible late addition for the Reds in the right-wing position. The Galatasaray winger could offer additional attacking threat and is valued at between £8m and £10m - though his club are said to be holding firm for a much higher fee given his importance to their squad.
