The club have moved quickly to sign his replacement, with [Fabrizio Romano](https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/2018324824955703610) revealing the club have agreed a deal to sign Nilson Angulo from Anderlecht. Adingra is on the verge of joining AS Monaco on loan, with Sunderland moving to bring in his replacement. The Belgian winger has only started nine Premier League games under Regis Le Bris this season. The 24-year-old is under contract at Sunderland until 2030.

Sunderland have suffered defeats in recent weeks, so keeping competition high is imperative, and Angulo will be eager to make an immediate impact.
