Everton have left their business late again and they are up against the clock to get their deals done.

Everton miss a huge trick in not signing a right-back

Not landing a right-back in the winter window feels like a huge missed opportunity from Everton to really develop this side.

Moyes has already admitted he’s desperate to sign a new right-back, but the wait is set to go on.

Patterson is being linked with a late Everton exit as he remains second fiddle to centre-back Jake O’Brien under Moyes.

Without a replacement coming in, surely the Scotland international is going to remain on Merseyside for the rest of the season.

As the World Cup nears, Patterson is going to have to force his way into the Everton side to play regular minutes ahead of the summer.
