West Ham United can, at least, rest assured that the final day of the January transfer window will be a Crysencio Summerville-free zone.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Hammers required a ‘crazy’ offer if they were to consider selling the former Feyenoord and Leeds winger.
A source close to the board also issued a stern riposte, too, following reports that Tottenham were looking to raid their London neighbours again.
If you had to rate this signing between 1 and 5, what would you go for? 🤔

Spurs snapped up Mohammed Kudus last summer, and also attempted to lure Lucas Paqueta across the capital. Teenage forward Elisha Sowunmi joined the Europa League champions from West Ham United on Friday, too.
Alongside Tottenham, Roma were briefly linked with Summerville in the Italian press. Despite head coach Gian Piero Gasperini suggesting otherwise, a new left-winger was an addition the Giallorossi were desperate to make before the deadline. And hey appear to have got one now, in the shape of Bryan Zaragoza.

According to Alfredo Pedulla, Bayern Munich are allowing forgotten man Zaragoza to join Roma on loan, with a £13 million permanent transfer lined up for the summer.
Like Summerville, former Celta Vigo and Granada man Zaragoza is a right-footed winger who plays on the left-hand side.

Summerville scored in a fourth successive game when putting Nuno Espirito Santo’s side 2-0 up at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.
Interestingly, West Ham reportedly looked at Andreas Schjelderup just before Summerville finally found his goalscoring touch. The Dutchman had gone 25 games without one, after all, before scoring four in four.
Benfica boss Jose Mourinho ruled out letting Schjelderup leave the Portuguese capital on the back of his Champions League brace in the thrilling 4-2 win over Real Madrid last week.
By that point, though, the suddenly free-scoring Summerville had made himself indispensable. And pretty much unsellable, too.
