And now, David Ornstein has reported that it has been accepted.

The deadline has just passed.

So it remains to be seen if Palace managed to secure a deal sheet in order to complete the move.

If they did, then they will have until 9pm to finalise the move that will take McNeil to Selhurst Park.

Pressure on Tyrique George to deliver

So it remains to be seen if a deal will get done for McNeil to join Palace.

Time is now of the essence and presumably, a deal sheet will have been submitted.

And if McNeil does depart, then it does put a bit of pressure on Tyrique George to deliver, with seemingly no other winger coming in.

Ultimately, Everton appear to have felt as though the money offered by Palace was simply too good to turn down.
