The Toffees have also negotiated an option to buy the 19-year-old this summer in negotiations with Chelsea, which the Daily Mail say is dependent on appearances.
Tyrique George can play anywhere across the attack for David Moyes – but he also admitted in 2025 that he would even be willing to fill in as part of the backline.

David Moyes handed boost as Tyrique George said he would play at full-back
The teenager is expected to occupy the left flank after Jack Grealish was ruled out for the rest of the season with a broken foot.
However, George said back in 2025 that he would even be willing to play at full-back so long as he is on the pitch.
The England U21 international said: “I don’t mind playing as a nine. I just want to get on the pitch, so if it’s as a striker or full-back, I’m happy to be on the pitch. I’m quite a creative player. I like to be in the pockets and shoot.”

Those comments could be of interest to Moyes, who named a defence of four centre-backs away to Brighton last time out, overlooking his natural options in Seamus Coleman, Nathan Patterson and Adam Aznou.
The Glaswegian has only handed out four Premier League starts to those three defenders so far this season.
Moyes clearly has a lack of trust in the trio, so there may well be times where he opts to use George in a full-back role dependant on the opposition should he see these comments, in our view.
David Moyes could also use Nathan Patterson more often after deadline day call
Genoa actually tried to sign Patterson on deadline day, offering Everton the chance to give the Scotland international regular playing time and potentially boost his value ahead of the summer.
If you could sign one player, who would it be Everton fans? 🤩

However, the Toffees opted to keep the 24-year-old on Merseyside, possibly offering a hint that Moyes will use him more often in the second half of the season.
Patterson was a fairly expensive addition back in January 2022 – with Everton handing Rangers £16m for his signature – so it would be good to see him given a chance to repay that price tag.
