Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to announce two new signings beyond the transfer deadline.
Despite the transfer window already slamming shut, Wolves remain on track to complete two more signings after deal sheets were submitted in time.
The Old Gold have now confirmed the £48 million departure of Jorgen Strand Larsen for Crystal Palace and soon the incoming deadline day business will be announced as Rob Edwards seeks to bolster his options in attack and in midfield.

As reported earlier today and over the weekend, Wolves are set to bring in striker Adam Armstrong from Southampton after a £7 million deal - plus £2 million in add-ons - was agreed with the Championship club. Armstrong, targeted as Strand Larsen’s immediate replacement, passed his medical earlier today.
The same can be said for Angel Gomes, who is joining on a six-month €1 million loan deal from Olympique Marseille. Wolves will have the option to buy Gomes permanently at the end of the season for around €7 million (£6m), even if they are relegated down to the Championship.
What to expect from Armstrong and Gomes
Armstrong, still in his prime years at 28, has scored 11 goals and provided four assists in 29 Championship games so far this season. In total, the striker has netted 43 goals and notched 23 assists in 174 appearances for the Saints since signing for £15 million from Blackburn Rovers.
At Blackburn, Armstrong was clinical as he scored 64 and assisted 19 in 160 matches. Armstrong also played well on loan at Coventry City in League One a decade ago, where he scored 20 goals in 40 games. One downside is the fact that Armstrong played for Wolves’ bitter rivals West Bromwich Albion, as he spent the second half of last season at The Hawthorns.
Gomes, on the other hand, is eager to get his career back on track after a failed move to Marseille. The Manchester United academy graduate has played just 892 minutes and scored four goals in Ligue 1 for Marseille, playing more of a backup role than he may have anticipated.
The 25-year-old contributed 10 goals and 19 assists in 134 games at previous club LOSC Lille. At Portuguese club Boavista, where he spent a season, Gomes scored six and assisted six in 32 outings. Then, for Man Utd, Gomes turned out for the senior team on 10 occasions.
