After a moderately strong loan spell at Orient, United announced on the club website that Moorhouse had been recalled.

The midfielder had been a regular for Orient, but their transfer business on deadline day effectively replaced the youngster, and United acted to recall him.

Orient’s signing was former United academy graduate Dylan Levitt, who joined as Richie Wellens’ new midfielder, and this effectively meant Moorhouse’s minutes would be slashed.

United have decided that Moorhouse playing U21 football under Adam Lawrence is better than being sat on the Orient bench for four months.

Hard to argue with this, but it will be disappointing for Moorhouse.

Here, he did well and earned a move to Hibernian one year later.

Levitt had some excellent moments for Hibs, but now he has moved to Orient on a free at the age of 25.

The Wales international has had a very solid career with 13 caps for his nation and even went to the 2022 World Cup, and now he will want to impress in League One.
