Everything you need to know about the leagues Manchester United can still send players to because their transfer window remains open...
Premier League window shut: The winter transfer window ended at 7pm on Monday, as clubs across the league rushed to finalise last-minute deals. It will not reopen until Monday, June 15.
Markets still open for business: Whilst Premier League clubs are now unable to sign any new players - except free agents - they will still be able to offload players for a limited period. That is because not all leagues follow the same transfer schedule as in England, with their respective windows remaining open.
Portugal and the Netherlands: The Portuguese and Dutch transfer windows close on Tuesday, February 3. It means that clubs from Liga Portugal and the Eredivisie have an additional day to secure any potential signings.
Austria, Greece and Turkey: The Austrian Bundesliga, Greek Super League and Turkish Super Lig do not shut until February 6. That means meaning teams have until Friday to find reinforcements for the second half of the season
Switzerland: Swiss Super League sides, including Young Boys, FC Zurich, Basel and Grasshoppers, amongst others, have until February 16 to finalise signings. United have already conducted business with a Swiss club today, confirming that Sekou Kone has moved to Lausanne-Sport on loan until the season's end.
Poland: Since the Ekstraklasa mid-season window didn't commence until January 25, there's still some time before it shuts. Polish teams can conduct transfer business until February 25.
Major League Soccer: Given that their campaign doesn't match the European schedule, spanning February to October, at least until next year, their transfer period also varies. The main transfer window in the United States operates from January 26 to March 26, providing ample opportunity for Premier League stars and players from other elite European competitions to move across the Atlantic.
