Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Brighton & Hove Albion forward Olivia Johnson on a loan deal for the remainder of the season.
WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Tricky Trees this morning.
The18-year-old joined Brighton & Hove Albionfrom Crystal Palace in 2021and she has continued her development within the club’s Professional Game Academy League squad. Johnson made her senior debut in a fixture against Bristol City in March 2024 and she signed her first professional terms with Brighton & Hove Albion last year.
In a bid to gain further senior playing experience, Johnson enjoyed a loan spell with Barclays WSL2 club Bristol City in the first half of this season. She made eight appearances for The Robins in all competitions in which she scored one goal. The forward was recalled by Brighton & Hove Albion last month.
On the international stage,Johnson has represented England at Under-17 level.
After joining Nottingham Forest on loan, Johnson said “I’m really excited to join Nottingham Forest, it’s a Club full of ambition for the women’s team.
“I can’t wait to start playing at The City Ground in front of all of the Forest fans.”
Johnson is Nottingham Forest’s first piece of business on Transfer Deadline Day.
