Alejandro Garnacho has been at Chelsea since the summer, but he still can’t help but take a cheeky swipe at his former club, Manchester United.
Chelsea are gearing up for their second-leg tie against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup, with a one-goal deficit to overturn after a 3-2 loss at Stamford Bridge.
Alejandro Garnacho single-handedly kept Chelsea in the first leg, after netting a brace as a substitute.
The two goals scored in the second half saw Garnacho even make Chelsea history, becoming the first substitute in 121 years to score two goals in a major cup semi-final (FA Cup or League Cup).
His form did drop against West Ham, where he was hooked off at half-time, but he’ll be hoping for a repeat performance of the first leg at the Emirates.

Alejandro Garnacho says Chelsea can beat Arsenal at the Emirates if Manchester United can
Garnacho left Manchester United on bad terms after his struggles under Ruben Amorim.
And it looks as if he’s still not over the treatment he was given at Old Trafford, as he’s taken a dig at his former club ahead of tonight’s clash.
Speaking in the Chelsea programme notes, Garnacho had this to say.
“Everyone knows how hard it is to play there. When we lost the first game, I saw a lot of people saying, ‘Yeah, but no one won yet at the Emirates’.
“But now I think the view is a little bit different. If, for example, Manchester United can beat them there, we can do it perfectly.”
After seeing Man United get the business done in the Premier League, it seems as if Garnacho clearly values Chelsea on a higher level.

Garnacho to be used as a super sub once again
We predict that Liam Rosenior will start Pedro Neto, Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro as the front three against Arsenal, despite Garnacho’s brace.
Garnacho has been much more effective as a super sub so far this season, and his two goals in the first leg are evidence of that.
Palmer offers a much more defensive solution when Arsenal are in possession, with the ability to drop in centrally when required.
