Brighton vs Crystal Palace in the Premier League from the Amex Stadium - Sunday, 2pm
Brighton and Hove Albion were pictured training at full tilt ahead of Sunday's showdown with Crystal Palace.
The Seagulls are on a poor run of form in the Premier League and a win against their old rivals this weekend would be a huge boost for under-fire boss Fabian Hurzeler.
Brazilian defender Igor Julio and Danish midfielder Matt O'Riley were among those back training with the first team at Lancing this week.
Igor cut short his season long loan at West Ham and will provide additional defensive cover for Hurzeler, while O'Riley is back from his stint in the south of France with Marseille.
Solly March trains ahead of Palace
Brighton winger Solly March was also seen training at full tilt as he he continues his long recovery from persistent knee issues. Whether he is fit enough to return against Palace remains to be seen and further details will be given here on Sussex World following Thursday mornings's press conference with Hurzeler.
Teenage winger Harry Howell was also pictured and his pathway to first team has perhaps opened slightly after Brajan Gruda moved to RB Leipzig on loan.
There was however perhaps cause for slight concern as Dutch defender Joel Veltman was training with heavy strapping around his left knee.
Veltman, 34, featured from the bench in last Saturday's 1-1 draw against Everton having previously missed the 2-1 loss at Fulham due to “tactical reasons”.
Judging by the pictures, the veteran seemed to be moving freely but there is clearly some sort of issue with the left leg and clarification will be provided on Thursday.
Albion are 13th in the league standings, while Palace - who smashed their transfer record on deadline day with the signing of striker Jorgen Strand Larsen - are 15th.
