Man United pursuing three Premier League stars

Manchester United will hope to continue their impressive run of form when they host Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils have won all three of their matches since Michael Carrick was named as the club’s caretaker head coach last month, including impressive wins against Manchester City and Arsenal.

Last time out the Red Devils beat Fulham, with Benjamin Sesko’s late strike earning Carrick’s side all three points.

Now, ahead of the visit of Spurs, it has emerged that United are interested in three young Premier League stars.

As per Spanish outlet Fichajes, Man United have identified Lewis Hall, Elliot Anderson, and Alex Scott as transfer targets ahead of this summer’s window.

The report claims that United have a budget of around £170 million to rebuild their squad this summer, with those in charge of the club’s recruitment prioritising moves for young British players.

Midfielder Anderson, 23, has been in fine form for Nottingham Forest over the past 12 months, and has also established himself as a regular for England in recent months.

The central midfielder is expected to be at the centre of significant transfer interest this summer, and the report suggests that Man United have identified him as a prime candidate to replace the departing Casemiro.

Hall, meanwhile, joined Newcastle United on loan from Chelsea back in 2023, before making the move to St. James’ Park permanent the following year.

The left-back has now made more than 80 appearances for the Magpies across all competitions, and is on Man United’s list of transfer targets for this summer.

Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott is another player on United’s shortlist of transfer targets, the report claims, with the 22-year-old having quietly impressed for the Cherries so far this season.
