Ipswich Town have announced the double-signing of forward Princess Ademiluyi and goalkeeper Lysianne Proulx prior to the closure of the January transfer window this evening.
The Tractor Girls first announced the news that Ademiluyi has joined the club on a loan deal from American National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club Gotham FC until the end of the calendar year. The Suffolk club quickly followed that announcement up with the news that goalkeeper Proulx has signed on from Juventus on a permanent deal.
Teenage forward Ademiluyi came through the youth system at West Ham United before going on to gain first team experience. She has also furthered her development in a loan spell with Charlton Athletic. The player joined Gotham FC at the start of this season and has been loaned out to Fort Lauderdale United.
On the international stage, Ademiluyi has represented England at Under-19 level.
Canadian keeper Proulx has signed an 18-month deal with Ipswich Town. She has spent the last season-and-a-half with Juventus where she has competed for the first-choice goalkeeping jersey. Proulx has also turned out for Laval Comets, FC Laval, Torreense, Melbourne City and Bay FC in her career to date.
On the international stage, Proulx has collected three senior caps for Canada.
Ipswich Town have added four players to their squad on Transfer Deadline Day. Nelly Las and Malaika Meena also signed on earlier today.
