From 2009 to 2019, a number of Everton fans surely tuned into Bayern Munich matches as much as possible.

Throughout that decade, two wingers by the name of Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben dominated German and European football, combining for 37 goals in 186 appearances together as they captivated the imagination of millions.

What was particularly intriguing about their partnership was the inverted nature of it, with Ribery lining up on the left flank to cut inside on his stronger left foot, and Robben on the right to cut in on his preferred left foot.

It will take some effort for them to emulate the Frenchman and the Dutchman, but Everton could now have their own variation of the partnership in Tyrique George and Tyler Dibling.

Let us know what your advice to Tyrique George would be after signing for Everton… 🤔

The Friedkin Group may have bought England’s very own Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben to Everton

In recent years, the Everton duo have made 17 appearances together for six different sides.

Dibling and George have represented the England U16, U17, U18, U19 and U21 sides together, also playing a game for the Chelsea U18 side back in August 2022.

Within England youth team circles, the pair have been mentioned as the Robben and Ribery of St George’s Park as a result of their playing styles, which mirror the Bayern Munich legends.

What Everton fans can expect from Tyrique George and Tyler Dibling

They were known as a youth level version of the iconic partnership, thanks to the fact George often showcased the trickery of Ribery, along with the sharp shooting ability he had where he could generate a powerful shot with little backlift.

When it comes to Dibling – who David Moyes must back – the Everton No.20 is a direct, powerful runner who uses his body to shield the ball before cutting inside like Robben would.

The duo are just 19 years of age, so nobody is expecting them to emulate the Bayern Munich icons immediately.

How would you describe David Moyes’ handling of Tyler Dibling so far? 😕

However, they unquestionably have the tools required to deliver a similar dynamic on the flanks for Everton, so long as David Moyes trusts them and offers the playing time required for them to fulfil their vast potential.
