The January transfer window closed on Monday evening and with it, Leeds United’s squad for the remainder of the season has been set in stone. The Whites were relatively quiet in the market, waving goodbye to fringe player Jack Harrison while welcoming Facundo Buonanotte on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion.
Leeds did pursue Jorgen Strand Larsen to the point of an offer worth almost £40million but were eventually priced out by Crystal Palace, who signed the Norwegian for £48m on deadline day. There were also questions about cover at left wing-back and central defence, but neither arrived while there was also no strengthening in goal either.
Elland Road chiefs will likely feel they have enough in the current squad, with Buonanotte added, to get through the final 14 games of the Premier League campaign. Below, the YEP takes a look at what Daniel Farke’s best XI could be and who would be available from the bench.
