The latest Man Utd transfer news and gossip as focus turns to the summer window.
The January transfer window might have only just closed, but Manchester United have already turned their attention to the summer.
Tom Heaton could retire this year, while Andre Onana is already surplus to requirements and on loan at Turkish club Trabzonspor. Altay Bayindir might pursue a move to play regularly again. The only one of those that seems certain at this stage is that Onana will look to leave permanently, after he was replaced by Senne Lammens in the United goal this season.

Manchester United could change their transfer plans based on who becomes their next head coach, but as things stand, Andre Onana is expected to leave the club permanently in the summer transfer window. The 29-year-old joined Trabzonspor on a season-long loan last summer when it was made clear he was not going to be the first-choice anymore and it is difficult to see a way back for him at Old Trafford.
"Onana is on loan at Trabzonspor and Manchester United decision is already quite clear. Man United are not expected to continue with Onana next summer. So the idea is to part ways, to find a solution. There were many reports in England about a potential Inter return, I am not aware about that. His agents were in Milan, but they are a powerful agency, working on several deals and they were in Milan for seperate topics. Not for Inter move.
"There will be several clubs interested in Andre Onana, the player is going to assess all the options. What I can tell you today is that Onana is expected to leave Manchester United, to try a different experience. Let's see what happens with Trabzonspor, if they try to sign him on a permanent contract, if that is going to be possible because of the finances. Andre Onana is expected to be one of the names for the summer transfer window."
