Where Brighton and Crystal Palace will finish this season after transfer window - Opta predicts …

Brighton vs Crystal Palace in the Premier League at the Amex Stadium - Sunday, 2pm

Brighton get back to matters on the pitch this Sunday as they welcome old rivals Crystal Palace.

The Seagulls did little incoming business this transfer window with Pascal Gross re-joining from Borussia Dortmund the main talking point for fans. Matt O’Riley is also back in the first team picture after he cut short his loan at Marseille.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace had an eventful time as Brennan Johnson joined from Tottenham before the £48million arrival of Jorgen Strand Larsen from Wolves. Jean-Philippe Mateta also stayed after his move to AC Milan collapsed.

However, the sale of club captain Marc Guehi midway through the season was a bitter pill to swallow.

So what does it all mean in terms of a potential Premier League finish?.... Opta have crunched the numbers ahead of the “derby” clash.
