Alex Jimenez set to join Bournemouth from Milan on permanent deal
Jimenez has spent the 2025-26 season on loan at Premier League side Bournemouth from Milan. His deal with the Cherries includes a conditional obligation to buy, which, according toFabrizio Romano, is set to be triggered this week.
Milan already received a fee of €2m for Jimenez’s loan deal. According to Wednesday’s update, the buyout clause will be worth €19.5m plus an additional €5.5m in bonuses and add-ons.

However, the Rossoneri will not receive all of that €19.5m as Jimenez’s former club, Real Madrid, are entitled to a 50% sell-on fee.
So, Real Madrid and Milan will split the €19.5m fee equally, meaning €9.75m each, not including bonuses.
Jimenez is reportedly set to join Bournemouth on a five-and-a-half year contract running until the summer of 2031.
