January’s derby was our first early Saturday kick-off at home for almost two years, since another 2-0 win, versus Everton, under Erik ten Hag.
Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford scored first-half penalties that day, to see off the Toffees’ challenge in March 2024.
There was an earlier two-goal success over the Toffees, in April 2023, with Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial the men to find the net, in our ultimately successful bid to reach the Champions League.
