Following the conclusion of the winter transfer window, Aston Villa will now submit their 25-man squad for the remainder of the Premier League season.

Each squad can contain no more than 17 players who do not meet the homegrown player criteria.

The remainder of the squad, up to a total of 25 players, must be 'homegrown'. Homegrown players are defined as those who, regardless of nationality or age, have been registered with any club affiliated with The Football Association or the Football Association of Wales for a period - continuous or not - of three entire seasons, or 36 months, before their 21st birthday (or before the end of the season during which they turn 21).

Villa spent around £40 million in the winter window, but new signings Brian Madjo and Alysson will be included in the reserves list, as they were born after January 1, 2003. Tammy Abraham, Leon Bailey and Douglas Luiz will be added to the main squad.

The likes of Lamare Bogarde and George Hemmings are classed as Under-21 players, which are not included in the 25-man squad list but are still eligible to play in the Premier League.
