A video has gone viral of a boy, aged 4, who was left in tears after his Dad stole his last chicken nugget at a home game of their beloved Wolverhampton Wanderers.

In the clip, Rory appears devastated when the snack is snatched as they wait for the game against Newcastle United to start at the Molineux stadium, on 18 January.

Two weeks on, the pair returned to watch another home game against AFC Bournemouth, and were surprised when all eyes in the stadium, fell on them, as club mascot Wolfie presented Rory with a whole new bag of nuggets.

The youngster had also received a special visit at their home from fellow mascot Wilfred, after the video was watched by millions.

Tom, his father, told BBC Radio WM: "I thought I'd gotten away with it until I saw the video on the night.

"Random people at work, walking down the road will say, 'You're the chicken nugget thief, aren't you?"

"What Wolves have done is brilliant, they sorted us seats and gave Rory a fresh load of chicken nuggets, they gave him strip memberships and they also gave my daughter some bits and pieces which was really good of them.

"The mascot Wilfred coming to the house was just brilliant."
