Manchester United are unbeaten in the Premier League since the beginning of 2026, but Michael Carrick’s players are now dominating the weekly awards following an improved run of results and performances.
With Manchester United sitting fourth in the Premier League and in with a chance of making it four wins in as many matches under Michael Carrick, hopes are building for Champions League qualification.
United enjoyed a 3-2 win over Fulham on Sunday to strengthen their position in the race for a Champions League spot. Casemiro opened the scoring before Matheus Cunha made it 2-0, but United threw away their lead towards the end of normal time.
However, in stoppage time, Benjamin Sesko scored a crucial winner to secure three points for the Red Devils.

It was Sesko’s sixth goal of the season as the Slovenian proved he can take chances in his short substitute cameo.
The recent win means there are more reasons to be positive about United than there were one month ago when Ruben Amorim was dismissed as head coach.

Casemiro wins Premier League Player of the Week award
For the fourth game week in a row, a United player has been crowned Premier League Player of the Week.
That shows that United players have been dominating the Premier League in recent weeks to back up recent wins over Man City, Arsenal and Fulham.
Casemiro topped the Premier League fan poll for Player of the Week following his performance against Marco Silva’s side.
The 33-year-old showed his ability in the air to head in Bruno Fernandes’ free-kick to open the scoring.
Casemiro also assisted Cunha for United’s second goal and played 75 minutes, coming off before Fulham’s two late goals.
The Brazilian veteran also made 10 defensive contributions throughout the game and touched the ball 52 times.

Casemiro goal tally in the Premier League
Sunday’s opener against Fulham was Casemiro’s fifth goal in the Premier League this season.
That is an impressive record for a defensive midfielder, let alone one aged 33-years-old.
All signs show that Casemiro will leave United on a strong note.
Hopefully, after securing Champions League football.
