Manchester United had five of their youngsters - including striker JJ Gabriel - involved in training ahead of their clash with Tottenham on Saturday.
The club have been going through their paces ahead of the lunchtime clash as they bid to make it four wins from four under Michael Carrick. Jack Moorhouse was one of several youngsters involved in training on Wednesday. He has recently returned from a loan spell at Leyton Orient and is looking to press on after recently heading back to Manchester.
He has been part of four matchdays squad in the past - the first of those coming against Tottenham last year. He was also an unused substitute for the two Europa League ties with Lyon and a home draw with Arsenal.
Jack and Tyler Fletcher were also spotted as United trained in front of the MUTV cameras. They are the sons of ex-player Darren, who remains in the club's set-up and was the caretaker boss of the side for two games before Carrick's appointment until the end of the season.
Full-back Yuel Helafu, 17, was also testing himself against the senior pros and he remained with the main group when his fellow youngsters moved into a separate part of the session later in the day.
Forward Gabriel, 15, was also among the first-team during training. He is ineligible to play in Premier League games, but he is highly rated at the club and has scored 11 goals in 16 games for the academy this season with many tipping him for big things.
Carrick in the building is now seen as a huge plus for the next generation of players. The ex-midfielder's son plays for the U16s and the parents of those in the set-up believe he will have a greater understanding of the club's traditions of backing youth.

Previously Ruben Amorim had made little use of the club's young players with his attitude towards Kobbie Mainoo often making headlines. He claimed: “We as a club sometimes forget who we are and that’s that’s the feeling that I have. I understand everything is the environment, is the moment of the players, the kids they feel entitled.”
A source told The Sun recently: “Carrick has been a regular at the training ground following the progress of his son. He is a lovely welcoming guy who always has time for everyone. People respect him and admire him because of his United career, but they also feel like he gets what it means to have a son in the academy. Parents were appalled by Amorim’s comments. Anyone in professional football should know how hard it is to make a career in football at any level, let alone at United.”
