Manchester United are now keen on signing another "monstrous" Premier League star, alongside Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson.
Man Utd keen on signing more Premier League stars
Last summer, Man United brought in two forwards who had already proven themselves in England, namely Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, and both of them have hit the ground running, weighing in with 17 goal contributions between them in the Premier League.
Since the arrival of Michael Carrick, United have really kicked on, winning their last three matches, with fellow summer signing Benjamin Sesko proving his worth by scoring a last-minute winner in the recent 3-2 victory against Fulham.
As such, having clearly upgraded their forward line, the Red Devils can perhaps focus on strengthening other areas of the squad in the next transfer window, and bringing in a new midfielder will be on the agenda, with Casemiro set to leave upon the expiration of his contract.
A report from TEAMtalk has confirmed that Nottingham Forest star Anderson is among the targets in central midfield, with Jason Wilcox ready to raid the Tricky Trees, but he is not the only Premier League star who's of interest.
Man United are also keen on signing Forest defender Murillo, and the race for his signature has now erupted, with Chelsea also interested, and a move within the Premier League could be possible, given that he is settled in England.

United have been impressed by the Brazilian's composure and consistency, and they want to bring in a top-level centre-back, but Forest are determined to keep hold of him, which suggests they could hold out for a big fee.
The report describes the 23-year-old as 'one of the most impressive young centre-backs in European football', and he could be a solid signing for the Red Devils, despite Forest's struggles this season...
"Monstrous" Murillo could excel at Old Trafford
Although the Tricky Trees have fallen short of expectations this season, currently sitting 17th in the Premier League, the one-time Brazil international has been a consistent performer, averaging a FotMob match rating of 7.02, the second-highest in the squad.

The Red Devils have set their sights on a new midfielder.
An average of 1.6 interceptions per 90 is the joint-highest number, with the Sao Paulo-born defender also displaying his passing ability by averaging 3.8 accurate long balls, more than any other Forest player.
As such, it is clear the centre-back is by no means responsible for Sean Dyche's side's poor league standing, and he received very high praise from journalist Ryan Taylor after impressing against Liverpool last season too.
Murillo, who pockets £75k-a-week, is now experienced in England, having made 86 Premier League appearances, and he could be ready for a move to Old Trafford.
