It is early days, but you can already see who Liam Rosenior’s key players at Chelsea are.
Right now, Joao Pedro is certainly on that list. The forward has been magnificent for Chelsea since Rosenior took over.
Arsenal were able to stop him on Tuesday, though he still gave William Saliba and Gabriel a tough time, but before that Pedro was on an incredible run of form.
Has Joao Pedro been Chelsea’s BEST player under Rosenior? 🔥
Even with a small injury…

Real Madrid think Enzo Fernandez deal is nearly impossible
Even before Rosenior’s arrival, Fernandez was playing well, and that did not go unnoticed. It is thought that Real Madrid are keen on signing the midfielder.
In fact, last month, it was claimed that Real Madrid were delighted over the prospect of Chelsea selling Fernandez.
However, the 25-year-old no longer looks to be a viable option for them, if he ever was.
According to The Athletic, while there certainly is admiration for Fernandez at the Santiago Bernabeu, Real Madrid consider the Argentine as “almost impossible” to sign because of the finances involved in a potential deal.
Chelsea paid £107m for Fernandez and have him tied down to a contract until 2032. It is going to cost Real Madrid or any other club a fortune to convince the Blues to sell him this summer.

Jamie Carragher hails Enzo Fernandez as one of the Premier League’s best
As a Liverpool supporter, Jamie Carragher would probably find it satisfying if Real Madrid swooped in and took Fernandez from Chelsea.
However, as a fan of the English game, the retired defender will want the Argentina international to stay in the Premier League.
According to Carragher, Fernandez is now among the Premier League’s elite.
Speaking about the World Cup winner after his heroics against West Ham United last Saturday, Carragher said: “He is right up there with the best players in the Premier League. He is a real… or one of the best box crashers we see in the Premier League — permanently getting on the end of things.”
How much would Enzo Fernandez cost if Chelsea tried to buy him today? 🤔 💰

Had it not been for that extremely long contract that he signed, Chelsea fans would have been worried. But thanks to it, Fernandez will not be going anywhere this summer.
