Brighton vs Crystal Palace from the Amex Stadium in the Premier League this Sunday - 2pm
Brighton and Hove Albion suffered an injury setback ahead of their Premier League showdown against old rivals Crystal Palace.
The Seagulls - who have slipped to 13th in the table - have struggled with injuries of late and will now be without key midfielder Yasin Ayari.
The Sweden international has been a vital player for Hurzeler this term but injured his arm in the 1-1 draw with Everton at the Amex Stadium last Saturday. Ayari was seen with his arm in a sling and the clash against Palace will arrive too soon for him.
"It's not a major issue but Yasin won't be an option on Sunday," said Albion head coach Fabian Hurzeler.
On the plus side, midfielder Diego Gomez returns to the matchday squad after missing out last week with a “small issue.” Mats Wieffer remains sidelined with a toe injury.
Jack Hinshelwood will be assessed as illness ruled him out against Everton.
