Hudson-Odoi recently brought up 100 appearances since arriving at the City Ground, and he’s been an important player under Steve Cooper, Nuno Espirito Santo, Ange Postecoglou and now, Sean Dyche.

Despite a struggle domestically this season, the vibes inside the Forest dressing room still appear to be on point, and now, Hudson-Odoi has shared what makes his partner in crime, Aina, so brilliant to share a pitch with.

The professional relationship between Hudson-Odoi and Aina is there for all to see when they both turn out for Forest.

Clearly, the former Chelsea duo go way back, and in a recent in-depth chat with the club’s YouTube channel, Hudson-Odoi shared what makes playing with Aina so brilliant.

He said: “You’ve got Ola behind you screaming, doing what he does.

“Neco isn’t bad to have behind you on the pitch, but Ola, literally every minute, even when I have the ball, he’s screaming, without it, he’s screaming.

“He’s good to play with, I love him, he’s a really good player. Brilliant. Good defensively, good at attacking, fast, great player, a really great player.”

Forest need Hudson-Odoi fit and firing

Hudson-Odoi left the City Ground in a sling after Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace, and his place is in doubt for Friday.

Nobody in the Forest squad carries the ball from defence to attack quite as well as Hudson-Odoi and his pace and ability could seriously hurt Leeds.

With Aina clearly enjoying playing on the same side as Hudson-Odoi, it would definitely stifle Forest to a certain degree should he not make the game on Friday night.

It’s great to see that despite the team’s league position, spirits are high in the camp and Forest need both Hudson-Odoi and Aina fighting fit for the rest of the season.
