Leeds United have signed a youth international midfielder for the club’s Academy.

Leeds United have announced the signing of a Serbia youth international attacking midfielder from Manchester United for the club’s Academy.

Edward Ibrovic-Fletcher, 17, who was born in Leeds, has returned to his home city by signing a deal that will keep him at Thorp Arch until 2028.

Teen signed scholarship terms with Manchester United last year

The teenager signed scholarship terms with Manchester United last year having joined the Red Devils from Sheffield United.

Ibrovic-Fletcher has featured for Manchester United’s under-18s this season under boss Darren Fletcher but not since November and the teen will now join up with Scott Gardner’s Leeds under-21s side upon his move back to West Yorkshire.

A Leeds United spokesperson said: “Everyone at Leeds United would like to welcome Edward to the club and we look forward to seeing his development at Thorp Arch, where he will link up with Scott Gardner’s U21s.”
