Manchester United could swoop in for West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen if the club are relegated.
That is the view of journalist Dean Jones. Speaking on YouTube, the TEAMtalk reporter said:
“West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen will be on the radar as an option to give United a new edge, if West Ham are relegated.”

This comes hot off the back of former Hammers player Joe Cole suggesting that Bowen could be in line to succeed Mo Salah at Liverpool if his team can’t avoid the drop.
Man Utd don’t need another right winger
You do have to question why the Red Devils would be interested. Even a cursory look at their first-team squad suggests that they have plenty of options on their right flank.
Bryan Mbeumo was signed from Brentford for £71m last summer, and while the Cameroon international has been playing as a striker recently since the arrival of Michael Carrick as interim manager, the United boss also has two other wingers who favour that side of the pitch.
Amad Diallo and Patrick Dorgu are at the disposal of Carrick as well, and that is before you consider young prospect Shea Lacey.

Of course, if Nuno Espirito Santo’s side don’t manage to get themselves out of trouble, then the vultures will start circling, with Bowen’s future (among others) being called into question.
At the moment, things are not looking too promising. The London club are six points adrift of Nottingham Forest in 17th place.
While it isn’t an insurmountable gap, they need to start picking up wins quickly, starting at Burnley this weekend. After their trip to Turf Moor, they actually face Manchester United at the London Stadium before another home game against Bournemouth later this month.
