Barcelona will not attempt to negotiate a lower fee with Manchester United for Marcus Rashford and are prepared to pay €30million (£26.1m) to make his loan move permanent.
After two miserable seasons at Old Trafford, Rashford completed a dream move to the Catalan giants on loan in the summer.
The 28-year-old has thrived at the Camp Nou, scoring 10 goals and providing 13 assists for Hansi Flick’s side and is firmly back in the England picture ahead of the World Cup this summer.
Barcelona have the option to make Rashford’s stay a permanent one at the end of the season but reports had suggested they would seek to pay less than the €30m agreed in July.
Sport report however United are not prepared to drop that price ‘by a single euro’ with Barcelona now considering it a ‘reasonable and affordable’ price, taking into consideration how much players of a similar profile would cost.
The only circumstance that could see the fee change now is if United express an interest in any members of the Barcelona squad deemed surplus to requirements – something that is not currently the case.
Rashford will sign a three year contract with the club on a salary lower than the one he would have received upon returning to Old Trafford.

The England star is fully on board with the move having settled into life in Spain, quickly becoming a well-liked and respected member of the squad.

Carrick played alongside Rashford for three seasons at United and also coached the 28-year-old during their time together at Old Trafford.
But Rashford has ‘no intention’ of returning to Manchester.
With a rebuild of the club’s midfield planned for the summer, a £26million fee for Rashford will help fill the United coffers. The club also hope to bank a £38m fee for Rasmus Hojlund, who’s loan at Napoli will become permanent if certain conditions are met.
United’s wage bill will also be lightened by Casemiro’s departure with the Brazil international set to leave the club at the end of the season.
Big earners Jadon Sancho, currently on loan at Aston Villa, and Harry Maguire are also nearing the end of their deals.
