David Moyes is quietly overseeing an impressive season at Everton.
Little has been made of the Toffees in the media, but Everton sit just six points away from fifth place and can boast one of the best defensive records in the entire Premier League.
Only David Raya and Robert Sanchez have kept more clean sheets this term than Jordan Pickford β who boasts nine in 24 appearances.
Everton have been particularly solid away from the Hill Dickinson Stadium β and David Moyes has the chance to break one of his own records if the Toffees keep it up.

Everton just seven games away from a new record under David Moyes
At the time of writing, Everton have conceded just 11 goals in 12 Premier League games away from home this season. Only Arsenal have shipped fewer with nine.
It is the first time since the 2008/09 campaign that Everton can boast such a strong defensive record away from home, when the Toffees conceded only 17 goals in 19 games with Moyes at the helm β before his move to Manchester United in 2013.
With just seven away games still to play this season β some against very beatable opponents β Everton are in a fantastic position to beat that record.

With Jarrad Branthwaite now back in the team and hopefully free from injuries, the chances of Everton achieving this feat have surely only increased.
Jordan Pickford on track to beat his own record and could even surpass Tim Howard
Ahead of another World Cup as the England No.1 this summer, Pickford β backed to win the Golden Glove β is having a fine season.
Goalkeeper Clean Sheets Season
Tim Howard 17 2008/09
Jordan Pickford 15 2018/19
Neville Southall 15 1995/96
Neville Southall 14 1994/95
Jordan Pickford 13 2023/24
As aforesaid, the Everton No.1 can boast nine clean sheets in 24 Premier League appearances so far this term, which puts him on track to break his own record of 15 clean sheets in a single Premier League campaign.
The England international achieved that tally in the 2018/19 campaign, but he will have to keep three more clean sheets on top of those 15 if he wants to make Everton history.
As things stand, no Everton goalkeeper has kept more clean sheets in a single Premier League season than Tim Howard back in that aforementioned 2008/09 campaign, shutting the opposition out 17 times.

It will undoubtedly be tough for Pickford to keep nine more clean sheets with only 14 Premier League games to go this season, but he has the talent to do it.
