Everton are sorely lacking in the full-back department right now.
David Moyes has opted to field a central defender in Jake O’Brien at right-back more often than not this season, overlooking a natural option in Nathan Patterson.
On the other flank, the struggling Vitalii Mykolenko is often preferred, but could easily be upgraded on and is out of contract in July too.
To make matters worse, Everton had an ideal option in Antonee Robinson – who Theo Walcott has now praised when speaking to BBC Sport.
If you are David Moyes, who would be your starting right-back for the remainder of the season? 🤔

Theo Walcott says Everton sold a rapid defender in Antonee Robinson
The United States international actually rose through the youth ranks at Everton – who he joined in 2008 at the age of 11.
However, Robinson never made a senior appearance before a £2m sale to Wigan was sanctioned in July 2019.
Walcott managed to get the chance to train with the man born in Milton Keynes while at Everton, and has now been discussing the left-back with Fulham No.24 Josh King.

When discussing their fastest teammates, King said: “Antonee Robinson is very quick once he gets going in a straight line.
Walcott – who also praised Marco Silva – then replied: “I was with him at Everton briefly, this is the later stage in my career and I thought, I can’t beat him. He’s too quick for me, so he was extraordinarily quick.”
Before struggling with injuries this season, Robinson was one of the best performers in the entire Premier League, winning the 2023/24 Player of the Season award at Fulham with six assists in 37 appearances – before outdoing that total with ten assists in 36 games last term.
Antonee Robinson is under consideration at Everton
The Toffees have not forgotten about the Fulham No.33 after his 11 years on Merseyside.
With The Friedkin Group hunting for a new full-back, Alan Nixon believes Everton are considering Robinson as an option to either challenge or replace Mykolenko, if the Toffees decide not to keep the Ukraine international after his contract expires.
Mykolenko is out of contract at the end of the season, would you let him leave on a free transfer?
Everton's Vitali Mykolenko.
It would be an exciting move given his effectiveness down the left flank – and also due to his connection with Everton.
However, with Robinson still under contract at Fulham until July 2028, it remains to be seen how the Cottagers would react to an approach from Everton.
