UEFA has issued a two-match suspension for Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo Goes, who got sent off during the team’s away match in Lisbon against Benfica. Therefore, Rodrygo will miss the two games of the Champions League’s Round of 32 against Mourinho’s men.
This will be a significant absence for Real Madrid, given that Rodrygo had been improving his form in recent weeks, actually making his case to feature in the starting lineup. Without him, Franco Mastantuono will likely step in and play on the right wing.
The first leg will be played in Lisbon on February 17th, while the return leg will be played the following week at the Santiago Bernabeu.
