The last time Man Utd won four successive Premier League games as Michael Carrick pushes for another win

Michael Carrick is pushing for Manchester United to rack up another victory.

It has been a dream start for Michael Carrick at Manchester United so far, with three wins from three Premier League games.

Former boss Ruben Amorim took almost a whole year to register his first back-to-back victories, eventually leading the team to three straight wins in October 2025, vs Sunderland, Brighton and Liverpool.

Amorim’s hopes of a fourth win in a row collapsed with a depressing 1-0 home defeat to a 10-man Everton.

He was sacked in January and Michael Carrick has made the job look remarkably easy so far, guiding the team to wins over Manchester City, Arsenal and Fulham.

Now he is seeking to make it four in a row when United face Tottenham this weekend at Old Trafford.

Man Utd HAVE to turn this record around vs Spurs this time…

Are you confident Michael Carrick will get a win?

United’s last four-game winning run

The last time Manchester United won four consecutive Premier League games in a row might not be as long ago as you think.

More United News

It actually came under Erik ten Hag almost exactly two years ago in early 2024, in a deceptively good stretch of form.

Wolves 3-4 Manchester United (January 2024)

Man Utd 3-0 West Ham (February 2024)

Aston Villa 1-2 Man Utd (February 2024)

Luton Town 1-2 Man Utd (February 2024)

Kobbie Mainoo was integral to this four-game run, while Rasmus Hojlund enjoyed his best stretch of form for the club.

United blew the chance to win a fifth by losing 2-1 at home to Fulham, with Erik ten Hag selecting Omari Forson as a starter ahead of Amad.

Is Ruben Amorim not playing Kobbie Mainoo the worst decision you can remember from a recent Man Utd manager?

United’s last five-game winning run

Manchester United must beat Tottenham at home to make it four wins in a row, and it won’t be easy considering recent results against them.

If we can get all three points, then we will face West Ham away to try and make it five wins in a row.

United’s last five-game league winning streak came in 2023, the final four matches of the 2022/23 season, and the opener in 2023/24.

We do not want to look too far ahead however. Getting to four would be a notable achievement considering the club’s poor form entering 2026.
