Speaking to Sportskeeda, Merson has now admitted that he thinks Silva is going to get one over his former side at the weekend, with a 2-0 defeat for Everton.

“I thought Fulham were unlucky the other day against Manchester United. Everton are different away from home. So it’s really hard to pick a winner in this game as well!” he said.
“A win would put Fulham back in contention for Europe. In fact, if they beat Everton, they will move to within three points of fifth-placed Chelsea. I’m expecting it to happen.”
Fulham are the overwhelming favourites to beat Everton given the Blues have only been able to secure one win since the turn of the year.
The European spots are there for the taking this season, but Everton have only secured two wins from their last nine games.

Everton’s form away from home has been excellent this season and it has been what Moyes has hung his hat on.
Opportunities like Saturday are exactly what Everton need to make the most of by taking points from a side sitting on the same number of points.
Moyes wants Everton to push for the European spots this season and consistency is going to be key to that.
Everton are not going to be relegated this season, which should be the reason why Moyes removes the shackles for the remaining months.
