Leeds team news

Jaka Bijol and James Justin are both back for Leeds but a new blow has seen Anton Stach more or less ruled out whilst doubts surround Dan James and Lukas Nmecha.

Defenders Bijol and Justin both returned to training this week although Whites boss Daniel Farke has warned that it would be a case of waiting to see how Bijol’s body reacted after missing his side’s last three games with a hamstring injury.

Justin, meanwhile, injured his toe in last weekend’s 4-0 defeat at home to Arsenal but only suffered bruising.

Winger James returned to training last week in his recovery from the hamstring tendon injury suffered in the 3-2 defeat at Manchester City at the end of November. James was not involved against Arsenal but has Farke has said the winger is making progress.

As of Wednesday’s pre-match press conference, striker Nmecha had still not returned to training following his hamstring injury, Farke admitting the forward would unlikely be back to face Forest but was not too far away.

A new blow, though, has seen Leeds lose midfielder Stach, the German struggling with hip problems after the defeat to Arsenal and likely to miss both tonight’s visit of Forest and Tuesday night’s trip to Chelsea.

Farke has said that Stach is probably looking at ten to 14 days out.

Predicted Leeds line-up: Darlow; Bogle, Rodon, Bijol, Struijk, Gudmundsson; Ampadu, Longstaff, Aaronson; Okafor, Calvert-Lewin.
