Celtic have completed the signing of Manchester United defender Evie Rabjohn on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
The Ghirls announced news of the transfer via a post on their official club website this afternoon.
The 20-year-old England youth international defender joined Manchester United from Aston Villa in summer 2023 and she has continued her development with The Red Devils. Rabjohn has struggled for opportunities at Manchester United with an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury not helping her cause. The youngster spent the first half of this season on loan at Sunderland where she got some much-needed minutes under her belt.
Rabjohn will now look to grasp her new opportunity with both hands at Celtic.
After joining the Glasgow club, Rabjohn said “I’m very excited to be here. I’m ready to play and show what I’m about. It’s a massive club, so I’m really, really happy.
“Coming to Celtic is an opportunity to fight for trophies, and titles. That is something that as a kid, you dream of.
“Having the opportunity to be able to do that is great and something that I am really looking forward to here.”
The transfer was completed prior to the closure of the January transfer window on Tuesday evening.
