Real Madrid are ready to reignite their interest in signing Manchester United defender Leny Yoro this summer, according to reports in Spain.
The La Liga giants wanted to beat the Red Devils to sign the French star from Lille in 2024, but he ended up moving to Old Trafford instead in a deal worth up to £59m.
Real now want to bring in a new centre-back this summer who provides youth, experience and long-term potential, and Yoro is said to fit the bill as one of the most exciting young prospects in Europe in his position.
Despite only turning 20 in November, Yoro has added 56 United appearances to the 60 he had already made for Lille during his teenage years.

According to Fichajes, Yoro's name has resurfaced in Real Madrid's sporting plans as they look to add a new centre-back to their squad at the end of the season.
Los Blancos are on the hunt for a young central defender who can 'define an era' at the heart of their backline and lead the defence for years, and they have identified United star Yoro as someone who fits that brief.
Real haven't stopped monitoring the young Frenchman after losing out to the Red Devils for his signature 18 months ago, having been unwilling to match the fee that United paid.
Now though, the La Liga giants believe that Yoro has the physical strength and quality on the ball to make a big impact for them. In addition, the experience he has gained and how he has grown in elite football mean he is ready for a move to the Bernabeu.
Man United Open Door to Surprise Exit

In a surprise development, Fichajes claim that United are ready to listen to significant offers for Yoro despite not officially putting the youngster up for sale.
The figure mentioned by the report is €70m (£61m), which is only a little more than United paid to bring the centre-back to Old Trafford in July 2024.
It's said that the fee would allow United to balance the books as they look to restructure their squad, with midfield a key focus ahead of the summer transfer window.
Yoro himself is said to be open to an exit from Old Trafford for the right project, with Real seen as a 'very attractive' option for the 20-year-old.
The talented defender has found himself out of favour since Carrick took caretaker charge at United, playing just a single minute under the former Red Devil in three matches so far.
