West Ham United have confirmed that Academy forward Gideon Kodua has joined Luton Town on a permanent deal following his initial loan spell.
The 21-year-old winger made the switch to Kenilworth Road at the start of the 2025/26 season and has clearly impressed enough for the Hatters to take up their option to buy.
Kodua becomes the latest graduate of West Ham’s famed Academy of Football to depart in search of regular first-team football.

While the initial fee may not cause much excitement in the short term, the club have protected themselves with several performance-based clauses.
These include personal milestones, potential promotion bonuses should Luton rise up the table, and a sell-on clause in the event of a future transfer windfall.
Kodua showed flashes of promise in claret and blue, most notably at youth level, when he captained the side to FA Youth Cup glory in 2023.
