Manchester United’s summer transfer window plans are becoming clearer, with left-wing continuing to look like an area of focus for Ineos.
Whether Michael Carrick is kept on or not, Manchester United are in for a serious summer with potential Champions League money to fund a midfield revolution.
Elliot Anderson is the dream addition for United in midfield to replace Casemiro, with several others also being considered.
Once the midfield dilemma is solved, United are also likely to invest in the left-wing position despite Patrick Dorgu emerging as a viable option in limited appearances there.
United have been linked with Yan Diomande, but now some alternatives from within the Premier League have been suggested as targets.

Manchester United linked with Anthony Gordon
Dorgu showed promising signs at left-wing before suffering his hamstring injury, but it would be silly to avoid strengthening based on his handful of performances there.
Now, United’s options have been revealed, including two new names.

Speaking to The United Stand, Jacobs has shared the latest on United’s left-winger search.
“We know that there’s appreciation for Yan Diomande, who’s a very versatile player, likes the kind of grandstanding at the moment, saying that’s a €100 million sale. We’ll have to wait and see whether that price drops during the summer.
“But as I’ve reported many times, there was never really an expectation that he was going to go anywhere in the winter window, barring a crazy offer in Tottenham could be there as well.”
After sharing the latest on Diomande, Jacobs added that United also likes Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon.
“Manchester United really like Anthony Gordon as well as a potential option, especially knowing that the player actually relishes the chances to have more game time through the centre as a number nine as well. And Arsenal have been there in the past.
“Gordon nearly went to Liverpool, but in the end, Newcastle were able to sell Elliot Anderson and Yankuba Minteh.”
Gordon would be an underwhelming signing given how he carries himself and arguably is a downgrade on Matheus Cunha and Dorgu anyway.

United also considering West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen
Gordon might not be the best option available, but it would be interesting. So would a move to take West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen.
The Hammers are potentially set for relegation, and in that case, he would surely be sold. Now, Dean Jones has confirmed to TEAMtalk that the 29-year-old will be on United’s radar.
“Jarrod Bown will be on the radar as an option to give United a new edge, if West Ham are relegated.”
Bowen would be an affordable addition, and as a left-wing option, there is few better as a squad option in the attack.
United are going for Premier League proven, and Bowen brings exactly this, along with being a leader.
