Nottingham Forest players ratings from Leeds thrashing, 2/10 star was truly awful

Nottingham Forest were smashed 3-1 by Leeds United at Elland Road as the boos rang from the away end towards Sean Dyche.

Forest were bullied by Leeds as goals from Jayden Bogle, Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin moved Leeds nine points clear of the relegation zone.

😪Sum up that SHOCKING Nottingham Forest performance in three words!

Truly embarrassing!

Lorenzo Lucca did get a late consolation for Forest, but when the Reds finally decided to play some football, it was far too little too late.

Sean Dyche got this one badly wrong, and he has to get his team capable of producing a big response at home to Wolves on Wednesday night.

Following the drubbing, we looked at some player ratings for the sorry Forest stars, with one star player scoring 2/10 for his woeful showing.

Nottingham Forest player ratings vs Leeds

Stefan Ortega – 5

Could maybe have come out a fraction earlier for the first goal scored by Jayden Bogle but not really to blame for it either. Made a good save before Noah Okafor scored Leeds’ second. The third was a complete mess, but again not his fault.

Ola Aina – 6

Solid if unspectacular, but doesn’t look anywhere near as impactful on the left as he does on the right. Didn’t do much wrong, but it wasn’t his best game.

MORE FOREST STORIES

Nikola Milenkovic – 5

Playing next to Morato can’t be easy and this wasn’t really a good night for any of the back four in truth.

Morato – 3

Let Brendan Aaronson turn far too easily for the second goal, which Okafor tucked home. Despite being capable of seeing games out from the bench, he simply offers up too many errors when starting games.

Zach Abbott – 4

Positional sense all over the place for Leeds’ second goal, and he was given a torrid time in the early exchanges of the contest as he failed to stop Gabriel Gudmundsson on a number of occasions.

Elliot Anderson – 2

Has to come off the corners! It’s embarrassing in those situations. So many were either overhit or underhit, and his deliveries in open play weren’t much better either. Quite what he was doing for the third goal is a mystery. Is his head already at Manchester City?

Ibrahim Sangare – 6

Probably the only one who looks as though they cared about being out there wearing the Garibaldi. Tried to get things ticking for Forest but he can’t do it alone.

Nicolas Dominguez – 4

Not the night for Dominguez to be playing ahead of young Zach Abbott. That particular Dyche decision left Forest far too isolated on that side of the pitch and it cost the team dearly.

Morgan Gibbs-White – 4

Should have slipped Zach Abbott in during the closing stages of the first half, choosing to shoot instead and forcing a save from Karl Darlow.

Callum Hudson-Odoi – 3

Had next to no impact on the game, except for an effort which was routine and comfortably saved by Karl Darlow. Correctly subbed.

Igor Jesus – 4

Missed two good headers with the scores level and although harsh to score him so low, he really should have done better with at least one of them.

Substitutes

Lorenzo Lucca – 5

Showed that he will have the ability to hold it up and after a strong ball from Ndoye, he might have scored his first goal had Morato left it for Lucca who looked set to score. Did take his late goal very well.

Who was the worst Nottingham Forest player vs Leeds?

Omari Hutchinson – 5

Barely touched the ball as Dyche had set up merely to defend and go for damage limitation.

Ryan Yates – 5

Once again offered very little but then what’s new?

Dan Ndoye – 5

Produced a very good delivery into the box late on, but was woefully wayward with an effort from the edge of the box

Luca Netz – N/A
