Transfer insider gives Manchester United subtle Yan Diomande hope

Manchester United are in the market for another attacking star this summer transfer window after already successfully overhauling their unit with Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha, and Bryan Mbeumo up top.

Under new manager Michael Carrick, Man United are already looking so much better in the attack, and the emergence of Patrick Dorgu as a winger recently has also been a huge boon.

But Man United are still after one more dynamic piece in a pure winger to pair with Dorgu and young Amad Diallo, and it looks like their eyes are fixated on another top young prospect in Yan Diomande.

The RB Leipzig star is one of the most talented young wingers in world football, and there will be several top Premier League clubs interested in his services this summer, in addition to others like Bayern Munich.

Cost is the concern, as RB Leipzig have been holding out for an egregious 100 million euros, but transfer insider Ben Jacobs gave some interesting insight that should have Manchester United fans intrigued.

Per Jacobs in an appearance on The United Stand show, Leipzig are merely “grandstanding” by saying that Diomande is on sale for 100 million euros. That implies that Man United should be able to get him for cheaper when Diomande’s price eventually comes down and the Bundesliga giants become more serious about a sale.
