Man City Star Delivers Verdict On“Incredible”£85M Double Deal

**Man City fullback Matheus Nunes has lavished praise on new signings Marc Guehi and Antoine Semenyo for the way they have integrated into the squad.**

When questioned on how the pair are settling in, Nunes said he has been taken aback by how quickly they have managed to adapt to life at the Etihad:

“Incredible, honestly. They’ve come in, they are top lads, you can see they’re good people as well, and this is the most important. And they’re already showing their talent. Against Wolves, Marc (Guehi) was incredible – I think everyone saw his quality already in that game. And Antoine, every game he plays, he either scores or assists – he’s been showing as well what he was doing at Bournemouth.”

“Normally, people take time to adjust or whatever, but they come in and they’re already proving they can play in this team. (It is) just lovely to have them, especially for example, with a lot of injured players, to have them come in and step up and deliver, it’s incredible. Very happy for them, very happy to have them here, and hopefully they can continue to help us.”

Semenyo has got off to a strong start

Things couldn’t have gone a lot better for the Ghanaian international after the Cityzens beat the likes of Tottenham and Manchester United to his signature.

The £65m arrival from Bournemouth has found the back of the net 4 times in just 6 appearances for the Cityzens, having also provided one assist.

Guehi will face the team he could have signed for this weekend

[**Pep Guardiola**](https://mancitynews.com/man-city-transfer-news-sandro-tonali-guardiola/)‘s team secured the services of the Crystal Palace captain for just £20m at the end of last month, and he is expected to be in the starting lineup when City take on Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday evening.

Guehi came within a hair’s breadth of signing for the Reds back in September before Palace pulled the plug on the move.
